Business Advisory Boards
Life science company founders often find that they would benefit from having a group of business advisors who could provide strategic consultation and help to “open doors” through business contacts and referrals. These are the kinds of things that a board of directors will provide, but typically to much larger and well-established companies. The VBDC can offer member companies comparable benefits through its “Kitchen Cabinet Advisory Boards.” These boards are usually comprised of 8 to 10 hand-selected subject matter experts and business advisors. Members are experienced individuals willing to assist the company founder(s) without compensation or future obligation because they understand the unique challenges that the entrepreneur faces and are willing to help them become a successful business enterprise. Over 10 Kitchen Cabinet Advisory Boards have been formed for member companies of the VBDC since it was formed.
