Current Development

Currently, the Park is home to over 60 life science organizations, including research institutes of VCU, state and federal laboratories, more than a dozen early and mid-stage ventures, and multinational companies including a number of international bioscience companies from the U.K., China, France, Germany, Scandinavia and Israel. The Park offers educational programs, scientific speaker series, social events and community outreach initiatives to bring companies together, promote innovation and create an exciting and collaborative work environment.

With over 1.1 million square feet of dedicated research and office space, the Park is conveniently located next to the VCU Medical Center, the fourth-largest university-affiliated teaching hospital in the U.S. and a “Top 100″ life sciences research center. Together, there are more than 12,000 company employees, researchers, educators and patient care specialists in more than 7 million square feet of facilities, making the area in and around the Park one of the largest, most comprehensive and vibrant life science clusters on the East Coast.
