Jobs Roundtable Featuring Congressman Eric Cantor at Virginia Biotechnology Research Park and Tour of Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc.


October 19, 2011 —Richmond, Virginia— Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. (HDL, Inc.), a CAP accredited leader in health management, will discuss innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation at a Jobs Roundtable hosted by the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park, featuring Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-07), on Thursday, October 20th at 10:00am. Robert Skunda, CEO of Virginia Biotechnology Research Park, will lead the roundtable discussion that will include Congressman Eric Cantor and Tonya Mallory, President & CEO of HDL, Inc., along with other representatives of the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park and local businesses.  The Jobs Roundtable will identify ways to spur economic growth.

With its operations based in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Health Diagnostic Laboratory has hired over 350 employees, to arm more than 5,000 physicians with the tools to offer personalized treatment plans to their patients. The advanced laboratory has delivered over 6 million highly accurate and reproducible lab results since its creation two years ago, resulting in the medical community’s increased ability to both determine and monitor effective treatment for cardiovascular disease.
