Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with First Lady of Virginia Marks Expansion of Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. (HDL, Inc.)

Richmond, Virginia — Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. (HDL, Inc.), www.myhdl.com, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with First Lady of Virginia Maureen McDonnell to mark the official opening of its expanded headquarters at the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park on January 19, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. The growing CAP accredited laboratory, which offers a comprehensive test menu of risk factors and biomarkers for cardiovascular and related diseases, was launched one year ago. Experiencing rapid growth in its first year, the advanced laboratory now employs over 180 medical professionals and is continuing to hire new medical leaders to expand its talent base. First Lady of Virginia Maureen McDonnell will welcome medical leaders, tenants of the Virginia BioTechnology Research Park, Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones, and public officials from the Commonwealth of Virginia. The ribbon cutting ceremony will also feature a presentation on the benefits of red wine from retired neurologist and owner of Veritas Vineyards, Andrew Hodson.
