A Retrospective by Dr. W. Baxter Perkinson, Jr.

Dr. W. Baxter Perkinson, Jr. is passionate about two things: his dental patients and his artwork. He opened his first dental practice in 1970 and began painting 10 years later. Baxter was introduced to art during a watercolor class his wife convinced him to take. Over the last 30 years, Baxter has painted 6,000 watercolors, but he’s never sold a single painting. Instead he’s donated all his work to charity. 30 Years of Giving Back: A Retrospective by Dr. W. Baxter Perkinson Jr. is the first time pieces from his entire painting career will be on public display. The show will also include nine sculpture pieces by Baxter’s biggest fan, his wife Elaine Perkinson.
